You never know what is behind you!

The previous post documented our investigations at Orange Hall in old St. Marys, Georgia. In the post we mentioned recording a few interesting EVPs. We are just now discovering the world of "white noise" EVP communications. We have learned from other experienced investigators that no matter what type of spirit you are dealing with- they usually will want to "talk". Learning to speak with respect and as if you are speaking to a regular person is very important. Doing your homework/research on a site and knowing a the facts of a spirit's story will also help with starting your communications. Also keeping in mind that generally we are from a very different time period than that of the spirit we are talking to is important. You should not use slang terms or heaven forbid any curse words. These will confuse and offend. We will attempt to add to the site one of our recordings from Orange Hall. In the recording we were walking in the basement pantry area- asking if anyone was there and if so if they wanted to speak to us. After reviewing the recordings we picked up a voice in the background....saying...simply "Behind you"
This will repeat on the recording for you. I must admit that if I had heard this audibly at the time I was in the pantry... I might have been tempted to make a quick exit!!! It definitely gives us chills still when we hear it.
